Michael Parkes (signed catalog)

The Netherlands: Steltmen Editions, 1986. 2nd ed. Softcover. Inscribed by Parks "To Jim and Karen, Best Wishes, M. Parkes" on the title page. Jim being Jim Vadeboncoeur, Jr. the well-known comics and art expert, and my former partner in Bud Plant Illustrated Books.

This was acquired and signed at an appearance Parkes made in Half Moon Bay at a gallery in 2005. It is accompanied by a 6" x 11" full color heavy stock card, promoting the event, with two Parkes paintings on one side (see picture) and text about the event, on the back.

On the rear cover of the book is a small sticker for Mark Alloy, who was the exclusive U.S. distributor of this book, and a dealer in Parkes' lithographs and posters. Fine. Item #28070
