Very handsome cloth clamshell box with a magnetic opening, stamped in gilt with color cover plate by Brom and a color frontis by Frank Frazetta. Full color endpapers map of The Hyborian Age, colored specially for this edition by George Barr.

A collection of eight of the finest Conan stories, including Queen of the Black Coast, People of the Black Circle and Red Nails. Arnie Fenner writes an 8–page introduction, "Whispers of Immortality," describing REH's creation of Conan and illustrating the original pulp and book appearances of this work.

This edition was limited to 500 numbered cloth-bound copies plus these 100 leather-bound, clamshell boxed copies. This is out of sequence, marked "AP" by the publisher in our presence, this being a File Copy, and signed "Tim Underwood, Publisher." As New, in the original custom cardboard shipping box (never used) with "BT" written on the end. As New. Item #30753
